Renascentia - Concept art
Scattered official art, conceptual pieces, and sketches for Renascentia - a personal narrative that has been in progress for over seven years now. The hope was to have it started around mid-2020, and finished within five years of when work started. Considering the current world events, it has been put to the side.
Regardless, it's gonna be a long one.
Renascentia is the story of an ancient people and the world long after their demise. It follows the journey of Oridir, a young man desperately searching for a purpose to strive toward; along with that of his sister, Cala, who was elevated nearly to the status of deity by forces far beyond her control and is now wading through the fallout. Underlying political unrest and the sudden sickness of the leader of a neighboring kingdom to the South sends Oridir and Cala careening into the plans of yet another figure, who has been at play for far longer than anyone else.
